Dua Lipa is an English singer-songwriter was born in London, on 22 August 1995. After working as a fashion model her decision was to join Warner Bros Records and release her debut album titled "Dua Lipa" in 2017. Her parents are of Kosovo Albanian descent. Bosnian roots through her grandmother. Also, her ancestors come from Peja, which is a Kosovo town of Peja. Lipa's grand-fathers were both history professors. There are two sisters, Rina and Gjin. Lipa's father, the guitarist and lead singer of Kosovan band Oda was a major influence on her music. Her musical influences were derived from her father's music that included his music compositions and songs such David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa began to sing at age five. In just her ninth year, she started singing at Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa performed Beautiful, by Christina Aguilera as well as If Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys.
